How Sorare scoring works: the 0 - 100 player score explained
Decisive Score, All-Around Score, DNP, subs and the bonuses that change your total in Sorare Set and Pro. The rules most new players never read.

If you're new to Sorare or have played a few Sorare Set games and still do not really know why your striker scored 41 and your keeper scored 78 then this is the page for you. It covers the single number every Sorare mode runs on, how it's built, and the handful of rules that prove decisive to your lineups.
I've played Sorare for over 3 years and I can tell you this confused me at first as it is more complex than your run of the mill FPL scoring, but thats what makes Sorare so much better than those other fantasy platforms.
The one number: 0 to 100
Every player in a match gets a Player Score from 0 to 100. It's made up of two parts:
- Decisive Score. Big moments: goals, assists, clean sheets, red cards, own goals. This sets the minimum score for a player.
- All-Around Score. The grind: passes, tackles, duels, interceptions, saves. This moves the number only up from the floor set by your decisive score.
It's the same number in Set and in Pro. What differs between the modes is the bonuses stacked on top (covered below).
Decisive Score: the levels
A player who gets minutes in a game will always begin on 35. That's regardless of if they are a sub or a starter.
Each positive 'decisive action' moves a player up a level:
| Decisive actions | Score level |
|---|---|
| None | 35 |
| 1 | 60 |
| 2 | 70 |
| 3 | 80 |
| 4 | 90 |
| 5 | 100 |

What counts as a positive decisive action:
- goal
- assist
- last man tackle
- goal line clearance
- clean sheet (goalkeeper only, after 60 minutes played)
There are also negative decisive actions. A decisive mistake drops you a level too. For instance 2 'goals' but one 'error led to goal' will lead you to a +1 decisive score and a base score of 60.
Here are the negative decisives:
- error led to goal
- penalty conceded
- red card

All-Around Score: the grind
Sorare tracks over 40 match statistics and turns them into a positive or negative All-Around Score by position. These range from successful passes, to duels won/lost and more. They are seriously in depth, but for the most part they make obvious sense.
A forward will benefit from things like shots on target, attempted assists rather than successful tackles. A defender will make up most of their points from interceptions, duels and tackles.

The two parts combine like this: a starter with no decisive action and a slightly negative All-Around Score lands below 35 (35 plus minus 5 equals 30). A starter with one assist and the same negative All-Around Score still scores 60, because the level is a floor.

DNP, minutes and subs
- DNP means did not play: 0 points, and the card shows DNP.
- There is no published minimum-minutes rule. A player who comes on late still scores from the 35 minimum score.
- Since the 2026-27 season you can name bench subs in Pro (a goalkeeper sub and one outfield sub) who step in if a starter is DNP.
Two matches in one game week (Pro mode only)
If a player has two games inside one game week (club plus international, or a rearranged fixture), only the higher of the two scores counts. They are not added together.
Sorare Set bonuses
Set uses the same real-match data and the same 0 to 100 score. What changes is what sits on top:
- Captain Bonus you can select a captain in your lineup to receive a 50% scoring bonus.
- Collection Bonus up to 5% bonus score from collecting players from the same club. For instance own lots of Barcelona players and your Barcelona cards will get a 5% bonus score. You can check it out in the 'collections' section of Set.
- Edition Bonus from 0% for standard cards up to 30% for legendary players
The percentage badge on each card in a Set lineup is these added together. A captained Pedri with a 4% Barcelona collection bonus shows +54%; a Shiny Koundé with the same collection bonus shows +9%.

Sorare pro bonuses
The paid game stacks more on top of the same number:
- Card level (XP) earned by playing the card, up to a 10% bonus.
- Captain gets a 50% multiplier.
- Collection bonus for owning several cards from one real club or nation. Similar to set.
- In-Season cards carry a guaranteed 5% bonus, and Hot Streak lineups need four of five cards In-Season.

Five things to do with this
- Pick guaranteed starters. It is very unlikely a sub will ever score you enough points to compete in either of the Sorare game modes.
- Check a players history. Some players are made for Sorare, others just aren't. Take a look at their past scores to get a feel for how the scoring works with different types of players.
- Defenders on a likely clean sheet carry a +10 in the All-Around Score. Stacking with a Goalkeeper from the same club will be a boost to both of them.
- Check for DNP risk (rotation, injury, suspension) before every lock. A 0 wrecks your lineup. Trust your gut.
- In Set, the rare edition cards really can make the difference when going for the cash scores. While possible, you'll do well to hit them without a special edition card!
